Our primary location is in the South Lake Union neighborhood in a state-of-the-art biotech facility, and our secondary location is in the SODO neighborhood with newly remodeled lab and office space in an historic building next to Lumen Field. We also have a stand-alone storage and office facility that is a short walk from our primary location. About You
As an Accountant, you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask seamlessly. The successful individual will be a team player with a “can do” attitude who is flexible and can set priorities according to changing needs.
Experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this position:
Position Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 (annual gross). Starting wage will depend upon relevant experience and qualifications of selected candidate.

About You

Experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this position:
- BS degree in accounting, finance or business. CPA preferred.
- 3 plus years of experience preferably in the biotech area or manufacturing.
- Experience with ERP systems, Acumatica a plus.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of accounting requirements for government contracts and grants a plus.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to take the initiative in resolving questions and problems that arise.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Recording financial transactions accurately by preparing and posting journal entries.
- Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Handling payroll and preparing payroll taxes.
- Assisting with capital assets and maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Staying updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards.
- Assisting with the month end close process.
- This position requires an ability to lift up to 25lbs with assistance.
