Job Description:
Inboden Environmental Services is seeking a dedicated and motivated Alternative Onsite Sewage System Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting residential alternative septic treatment systems throughout Shenandoah County and surrounding counties of Virginia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial alternative septic treatment systems.
- Record relevant information during inspections accurately and comprehensively.
- Evaluate system performance and identify any issues or areas for improvement.
- Collect samples for laboratory analysis to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
- Perform onsite testing, including pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), and Chlorine levels.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all inspections and tests conducted.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Able to use computers and computer programs
- Self-regulated and highly motivated individual.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in environmental services or a related field is preferred but not required.
