Job Description:
Inboden Environmental Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on various equipment and components of water and wastewater treatment facilities. This position may also involve daily operational support, including sampling, testing, and inspection of assigned systems on an as needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on equipment and components of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Conduct daily operational support, including sampling, testing, and inspection of each assigned system.
- Utilize electrical/industrial controls, knowledge of pumps and motors, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics to maintain and repair systems.
- Generate and complete work orders, schedules, and email correspondence using computer/electronic based programs.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and clientele to ensure efficient operation in a fast-paced team environment.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar field (e.g., industrial, mechanical, municipal utilities).
- Proficiency in electrical/industrial controls, pumps and motors, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to use a computer for work orders, schedules, and email correspondence.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with supervisors and clientele.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Initiative and eagerness to learn.
- Valid Virginia Drivers License
