iNc EMPIRE is a preferred recruiting partner of a manufacturer in Greencastle, IN.
We are seeking experienced Process Technicians for 2nd Shift Only.
These positions are all DIRECT HIRE - Full Time career opportunities with great benefits that begin on the 1st day of employment.
What will you get to do in this role?
- Position, align, and secure assemble mold or mold components, and machine accessories, onto machine press bed, according to guide marks, using hoist, power tools, and hand tools.
- Attach connecting lines, such as air, oil, or water to mold, and adjust controls to regulate mold temperature.
- Set machine controls and turn dials to regulate specified machine forming pressure and plastic curing time in mold.
- Measure and visually inspect sample product for surface and dimensional defects, using microscope, micrometer, and gauges, and adjust machine setup to eliminate defects.
- Develop all needed documents for trials including mold trial history reports, process settings, etc.
- Develop different standards for multiple different tonnage tools.
- Compile and summarize test data, analyze, and interpret test results, and write reports including root cause for errors / defects and recommend countermeasures.
- Create and test production cycle sheets and machine daily maintenance check sheets and machine downtime logs.
- Mentor other associates with less experience in department
- Mold Setter experience that progressed into a Process Technician role
- Injection Molding Process experience
- Paulson Training experience is a plus!
- Automotive industry experience is a plus
