InCare Pulmonary and Sleep Specialists is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Practice Scheduler to manage and coordinate provider work schedules in our busy medical practice. The ideal candidate will have experience with scheduling software such as Amion or QGenda and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and optimizing provider availability to meet patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and adjust provider work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Utilize scheduling software (Amion or QGenda) to maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules.
- Coordinate shift changes, time-off requests, and provider availability.
- Communicate scheduling updates to providers and staff in a timely manner.
- Work closely with practice leadership to optimize scheduling efficiency.
- Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and implement solutions proactively.
- Maintain compliance with practice policies and regulatory requirements.
- Generate reports and analyze scheduling data for operational improvements.
- Other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in medical scheduling or a related role.
- Proficiency in Amion or QGenda (or similar scheduling software).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with medical office operations is a plus.
