First shift hours will be 8 am to 4 pm and second shift hours will be 2 pm to 1030 pm.
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. Duties
- Support meal preparation and assist residents during mealtime, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
- Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and report any changes in health or behavior to nursing staff.
- Uphold resident rights by promoting privacy, dignity, and respect at all times.
- Assist with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring residents safely as required.
- Drive residents to appointments or activities as necessary. Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be willing to help with cooking and laundry.
Experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- A caring attitude with a passion for helping others is essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with lifting and assisting residents.
