Position :: Hadoop Data Engineer
Location :: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

A Data Engineer is responsible for developing, supporting, and implementing data services across multiple applications to meet business objectives and user requirements. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining technology solutions, with a focus on ensuring scalability, availability, and maintainability of data systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Service Development: Design and implement data services that align with business goals and user needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with users, developers, operations, and business partners to define data requirements and develop data preparation processes.
Infrastructure Design: Build data service infrastructures across various data platforms, ensuring they support key business processes and workflows.
Solution Implementation: Develop and deploy data solutions that are scalable, available, and maintainable.
Data Migration and Transformation: Oversee data migration and transformation activities to ensure data accuracy and security.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hadoop, Oracle, Python, Spark, SQL, and Pyspark.
Experience: At least 3 years of relevant industry experience, with a strong understanding of data analytics, data mining, and machine learning.
Education: A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
