Job Summary (Arlington, VA / Jersey City, NJ)
Looking for a Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our products, services, and internal processes.
Role will have interactions with Managers & engineers and with end customer to produce high-quality content that helps users understand Policies, Standards & Guidelines
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation, including Procedures, Standards, Decision , etc.,
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and translate complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand content.
- Edit, proofread, and revise existing documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Create visual aids such as diagrams, flowcharts, and screenshots to enhance documentation.
- Organize and manage content repositories for easy access and version control.
- Gather user feedback and update documentation accordingly.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in technical writing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical writing, preferably in a software, IT, or engineering environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, user-friendly content.
- Experience with documentation tools such as JIRA, Confluence or similar.
- Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger, Postman.
- Basic understanding of programming languages, software development, or cloud technologies is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple documents and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
