Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Travel in assigned territory three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday), completing four to five customer visits per day.
- Utilize market share data to determine top strategic accounts and visit those accounts quarterly.
- Attend and participate in trade shows within the assigned territory.
- Develop quarterly sales plans using the Customer Engagement Process to ensure consistent goal achievement.
- Develop strategic plans to expand product categories and grow the business within the assigned territory.
- High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business or related field encouraged.
- At least 2 years of direct sales/account management experience.
- Proven track record of sales achievement and success in a B2B sales environment.
- Experience in contract management and growing contract-based business.
- Experience in the industrial or wholesale distribution industry.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely within a sales team.
