Business Analyst - Quorum Accounting

Compensation: $95,000 - $125,000 with a 15% target bonus (Flexibility on Base Salary)

Location: Midland, TX (onsite) or Denver, CO (onsite on Wednesdays)

Position: Quorum Accounting Business Analyst

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Quorum Accounting Business Analyst to join their team! This role supports the Accounting and IT departments, serving as a vital link to ensure data accuracy and smooth integration within their upstream Quorum Accounting systems. With opportunities for growth, this position involves direct collaboration with various business units and vendors to streamline processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data use. The company is committed to building the best data infrastructure in the industry, making this an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst looking to make a substantial impact.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between Accounting and IT teams to deliver technical solutions tailored to business needs.
• Manage software defects, enhancement requests, testing, and deployments with external vendors.
• Provide expertise in upstream Quorum Accounting and work with various departments to identify automation opportunities.
• Execute data validation, data pulls, and maintain access permissions within the Quorum system.
• Lead process improvements and document new technology implementations.
• Prepare SOX deliverables and adhere to SOX application controls.
  
  

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting Accounting teams.
• Strong proficiency with SQL (both coding and reading).
• Experience with Quorum Accounting, particularly upstream Quorum modules (QCA, QCFS, QRA, QDO).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to work across multiple teams.
  
  

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with BI tools, particularly Spotfire.
• Experience with SOX or audit internal controls.
• Exposure to OpenInvoice and Execute (formerly AFE Nav) systems.
