Position: Manager of Application Development

- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for system and application optimization.
- Collaborate with leadership, business units, and external partners to align development initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for application modernization using technologies like C#, Python, Cobol, and Java.
- Lead IT modernization projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure robust security measures are in place and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered (one year of experience for each year of required education).
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycles and programming languages, including Java, Python, Cobol, and C#.
- Familiarity with robotic process automation and leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance user engagement.
- Experience with state and federal funding processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and team building.
