Responsibilities:
- Ensure security transactions and daily processes are completed accurately and within policy guidelines.
- Reconcile daily activity between depositories and accounting systems, resolving discrepancies to prevent financial losses.
- Manage the movement of funds between domestic and international depositories and institutions.
- Implement process improvements while maintaining strong controls to reduce risk.
- Utilize expertise in securities processing to develop and refine procedures for transactional processing and reporting.
- Resolve complex discrepancies in reconciliation between accounting systems and third-party vendors.
- Provide support to auditors, compliance teams, investment managers, and operations personnel.
- Participate in system conversions, process improvements, and user group meetings.
- Test and document reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in a high-volume securities operations environment.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency in operating software applications and accounting systems.
- Experience in trust and/or bond accounting.
- Knowledge of reconciliation processes in a high-volume financial setting.
- Ability to track and improve operational efficiencies.
