Responsibilities:
- Using the Right Angle Marketing system to calculate the weighted average cost of goods sold for margin analysis and planning/hedging transactions.
- Performing variance analysis for balance sheets, income statements, and margins compared to budget and prior periods.
- Completing month-end inventory movement reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
- Connecting and communicating with distribution and commercial groups to implement new deals and resolve volume, rate, and AR/AP discrepancies with customers.
- Reviewing NGL contracts to understand economic value and ensuring Right Angle system input is accurate.
- Assisting with special projects as requested by leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 6 years of experience in accounting.
- Action-oriented with a strong desire for growth and professional development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPA certification or CPA track.
- Public accounting experience and/or energy industry experience (both are significant advantages).
- Experience with the Right Angle revenue system.
- Familiarity with Oracle or other large ERP systems.
- Background in process improvement initiatives.
- Data analysis and automation experience.
