Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable and efficient data systems by collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Python, Azure Databricks, and related tools.
- Develop and integrate processes for ingesting, transforming, and consolidating data from diverse sources into centralized repositories.
- Design and deliver actionable dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring data quality and usability.
- Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and scalability while providing strategic guidance on best practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing, scripting, and automation.
- Expertise in Azure Databricks, including Delta Lake and Spark-based processing.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
- Familiarity with Azure services such as Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or similar cloud data tools.
- Experience with SQL for querying and managing databases.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for simplifying complex technical concepts.
- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance in a cloud environment.
