Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for independent clients and corporate companies, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
- Manage compliance deadlines and coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information.
- Develop and implement effective income tax planning strategies tailored to each client’s unique financial situation and objectives.
- Advise clients on the income tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and investments, optimizing their tax positions.
- Stay updated on changes in income tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on client operations and strategies.
- ???????Conduct thorough research to support positions taken in income tax filings and client consultations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their income tax-related inquiries.
- ???????Clearly communicate complex income tax concepts to clients, ensuring they understand their tax positions and planning strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years of management, supervisory, or team lead experience.
- Tax research and tax preparation.
- QuickBooks experience
- 5 years of tax from a CPA firm
- Microsoft Office
