TIPS Subject Matter Expert

Compensation: $70-90/hr

Position: TIPS Subject Matter Expert

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled TIPS Subject Matter Expert to join their team!

This consultant will have extensive expertise in gas plant accounting systems, particularly the Quorum TIPS platform. This role will be responsible for providing consulting services to optimize and streamline our gas plant accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the gas industry, accounting for gas plants, and hands-on experience with Quorum TIPS software.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consulting on gas plant accounting processes, specifically using Quorum TIPS for managing and tracking plant operations, financial data, and compliance.
• Lead and assist in the setup, configuration, and implementation of Quorum TIPS to optimize gas plant accounting workflows.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure Quorum TIPS is tailored to the company’s unique operational and accounting needs.
• Ensure accurate recording of gas plant operations, including production volumes, processing costs, plant allocations, and other financial data.
• Provide training and guidance to internal accounting teams on the effective use of Quorum TIPS, including reporting, data entry, and system navigation.
• Review and reconcile financial data within the Quorum TIPS system to ensure accuracy and alignment with external reporting standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Quorum TIPS environment to increase operational efficiency.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Quorum TIPS and gas plant accounting practices.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, cost allocations, and other reports derived from the Quorum TIPS system.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to gas plant accounting and reporting.
  
  

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in gas plant accounting, with hands-on expertise in Quorum TIPS (a must).
• In-depth knowledge of gas plant operations, financial processes, and accounting procedures.
• Proven track record of working with Quorum TIPS to configure, optimize, and troubleshoot accounting systems.
• Experience with general ledger, cost accounting, and production accounting for gas plant operations.
