Key Responsibilities:
Location: San Jose, CA

Compensation and Benefits:
- The firm is big on diversity / inclusivity
- Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000, can exceeed budget if experienced
- Total Compensation:
- Year 1: $90,000 - $120,000 (includes base salary bonus)
- Year 2-3: $150,000 - $250,000 as you grow into a full advisory role
- Lead Advisor Role: $300,000 - $400,000 within 1-2 years, with potential total comp up to $500,000, no cap.
- Commissions: Paid out monthly
- 1% on annuity premium
- 10% on assets under management (AUM)
- Ongoing yearly commission if you remain the servicing advisor

- Develop, present, and execute tailored financial plans for clients
- Provide guidance on retirement planning, including investments, taxes, income strategies, and legacy planning
- Assist clients with annuities, life insurance, long-term care, and managed investment portfolios
- Foster strong, lasting client relationships and maintain excellent service standards
- Participate in client seminars, marketing events, and other public engagements to build and strengthen client connections
- Manage follow-ups with potential clients, set appointments, and cultivate long-term advisory relationships
- Support the main Advisor in achieving team and individual goals while building your client base
- Grow into a full advisory role with a structured career progression
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in financial services, with a preference for experience in wealth management or retirement planning
- Licenses: Must hold a Series 65 and Life and Health Insurance licenses
- Skills: Strong organizational, mathematical, and analytical abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with CRM software is a plus
- Personal Traits: Quick learner, proactive, positive mindset, with a high degree of initiative and a client-first attitude; must be comfortable in a sales environment with follow-through on opportunities
