- Develops and improves procedures to solve complex finance and accounting system issues.
- Aligns technology solutions with business goals.
- Works with Accounting and other teams to identify business needs, plan long-term system improvements, and ensure solutions meet company requirements.
- Leads process analysis, needs assessments, testing, and quality control for system changes.
- Shares trends and requirements between customers and IT.
- Manages multiple technology projects while providing support and guidance to internal teams.
- Mentors junior Financial Systems Analysts.
- Engages in industry groups to stay updated on best practices in business and technology.
- Tracks project progress and outcomes.
- Accounting experience required.
- Strong understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
- IT experience in business systems analysis or extensive collaboration with IT on large-scale implementations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to research and resolve customer issues.
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer trust across Finance and Accounting.
- Expertise in systems design, integration, automation, data management, ERP, and financial systems.
- GAAP knowledge preferred.
- Ability to lead, make decisions, and influence others.
- Experience in mentoring and developing others.
- Strong project coordination, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
- Experience adapting to rapidly changing technology.
