Location : On-site in Crystal City, Arlington, VA (This role requires onsite performance at various customer locations including Fort Belvoir, Crystal City, and the Pentagon. This position may require OCONUS travel to any of the 11 Combatant Commands for stakeholder engagement.)

Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the role of Agile Chief Scrum Master. This unique position requires visionary leadership, commitment to both learning and teaching Agile tools and techniques, strategic elimination of impediments, and relentless pursuit of improvement. As a key member of our Agile organization, you will be instrumental in the success of our Agile practices and ensuring the smooth delivery of value to our customers.
Job Responsibilities :
Agile Leadership : Provide strong leadership and guidance to multiple cross-functional teams. Champion Agile principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Release Management : Closely collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute the strategy for each incremental release. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
Scrum Mastering : Serve as the Chief Scrum Master, coaching team members on Agile practices, facilitating ceremonies, and removing impediments to progress.?
Risk Management : Identify risks and issues that may impact the successful delivery of releases and work with teams to mitigate them effectively. Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical issues.
Performance Monitoring : Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team health and performance. Use data-driven insights to drive improvements and optimize delivery processes.
Stakeholder Engagement : Engage with business stakeholders and leadership to provide visibility into the development process. Communicate effectively to manage expectations and address concerns.
Continuous Improvement : Lead retrospective sessions and other forums to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement across the Agile organization.
Job Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
6 years of experience as Scrum Alliance Scrum Master and / or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
Proven record of accomplishment leading high-performing Agile teams and delivering successful releases.
Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for projects of a comparable size.
Experience making public presentations, facilitating discussion panels, and preparing written and verbal communications targeting audiences of varying backgrounds and experience levels.
Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation in training initiatives.
Active US Government Clearance at SECRET level or higher
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to regularly lift at least 25 pounds.
Ability to commute to the designated onsite work location as required.
