About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer with expertise in Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure, and security operations to provide comprehensive IT support and security management. This role involves troubleshooting, system administration, and cybersecurity tasks, ensuring a secure and seamless IT environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Cyber\IT Operations
- Provide technical support for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure-related, and other Cyber Solution issues via email, chat, and phone.
- Manage Azure and VMware environments, including VMs, networking, storage, backups, and cost optimization.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune.
- Assist with hybrid identity configurations, including Azure AD Connect, conditional access policies, SSO, and MFA.
- Automate IT operations using PowerShell, Azure Automation, and Logic Apps.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address infrastructure issues.
Cybersecurity & Network Operations
- Manage firewall configurations, VPNs, and network security policies.
- Deploy and monitor Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions to protect endpoints from cyber threats.
- Implement email security best practices, including DKIM, DMARC, SPF, phishing protection, and threat intelligence.
- Administer Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Analyze and respond to incidents that occur from monitoring SIEM platform.
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Respond to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and recommend mitigations.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3 years of experience in technical support, IT administration, or security operations.
· Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune).
- In-depth knowledge of Entra ID (Azure AD), role-based access control (RBAC), identity protection, and conditional access.
- Hands-on experience with Azure resource management, including VMs, networking, security, and cost governance.
- Experience with firewall administration (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, or similar).
- Knowledge of EDR/XDR solutions such as Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, or Carbon Black.
- Familiarity with email security configurations and threat intelligence.
- Scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Python, or Terraform is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Security Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, CEH, CISSP, or Network ) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting hybrid AD environments with Azure AD Connect.
- Knowledge of SIEM platforms (FortiSIEM, Splunk, QRadar).
- Exposure to incident response and forensic analysis.
- Understanding of zero-trust security architectures.
