CONSULTING DIRECTOR - FEDERAL

ROLE OVERVIEW
We seek an experienced Consulting Director to join our federal practice, focusing on managing client engagements, driving business development efforts, and supporting strategy, operations, and implementation projects. The ideal candidate will bring established relationships within the federal sector and a proven ability to deliver strategic consulting projects. This role requires deep familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and demonstrated capability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance client solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead client engagements, providing strategic advisory, operational effectiveness, and implementation support within the federal sector.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, meeting or exceeding established signing and revenue targets.
- Manage and grow a robust pipeline of federal opportunities.
- Utilize expertise in digital transformation and strategically apply AI tools to deliver impactful client outcomes.
- Contribute to team development through mentoring and coaching consultants, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 10 years of consulting experience, including at least 5 years specifically supporting federal government clients.
- Proven track record in strategic consulting, operational improvement, and successful implementation projects within the federal sector.
- Demonstrated business development and pipeline management success, with established client relationships and proven experience achieving revenue and signing targets.
- Strong knowledge of digital transformation initiatives and capability in effectively utilizing AI technologies to drive client solutions.
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for team development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing senior client stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Prior experience working with or for major consulting firms or integrators serving federal government agencies.
- Established relationships within key federal agencies and large federal contractors.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPA, or related).
