What you will be doing:
- Supervise all creative content for Pelicans and Saints in-game video board activations and LED ribbon boards.
- Oversee and provide guidance to Motion Graphics Coordinators and Associates.
- Collaborate with the video production department to produce, edit, and design graphics and animation packages for both game and non-game day content.
- Conceptualize, design, and build animations to support Game Experience and video/LED presentations (e.g., Starting Lineups, Show Open, In-Game Activation Introductions).
- Stay current with trends and ideas within the motion graphics/animation industry.
- Work with other departments to address video production and motion graphic needs.
- Operate control room software and play-out systems for home games (e.g., Ross Xpression, Click Effects).
- Perform other duties as assigned. Must be available to work all home games.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in television, communications, animation, digital media, motion graphics, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of graphic design and animation software: Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and illustrator. 3D design experience preferred (Cinema 4D, Blender, Element 3D, etc.)
- Proficiency of Ross Xpression ecosystem: Tessera, Dashboard, DataLinq, and INcoder
- Knowledge of and passion for football basketball statistics preferred
- Degree in television, communications, animation, digital media, motion graphics, or equivalent experience.
- Former management and/or leadership experience required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of effectively managing priorities in a dynamic and energetic work setting.
- Position will be required to lift 25 lbs. and work nights, weekends, holidays, and early mornings as needed.
