YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop scalable applications using Python and React
- Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Create and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda
- Design and implement message-based architectures using SQS and SNS
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using API Gateway
- Ensure all development follows security best practices and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 4 years of experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in Python and React
- Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly:
- Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform)
- Lambda functions and serverless architecture
- SQS and SNS implementation
- API Gateway configuration and management
- Experience working in government or highly regulated environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Previous experience with government projects
- Experience with automated testing and TDD
Salary: $80,000 - $96,000
