Drawing Technician - 3rd Shift only

DRAWING TECHNICIAN -  3rd Shift

We are currently recruiting for a Technician who can join our team and hit the ground running.   

3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 3rd Shift (10pm - 6am) now available. 15% differential paid for 3rd Shift.  
Must be able to train on 1st Shift (Monday - Friday 6am-2pm) for about the first three months
We are willing to train "a great attitude and positive energy" in our technology.

Our Technician perform diversified manual and mechanical duties to fully set up and operate various types of drawing machines and perform other related processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up and operate various fiber drawing machines to include material preparation, fiber handling and fiber inspection
• Use precision measuring instruments to make periodic inspections to ensure parts meet customer specifications
• work closely with engineering to conduct engineering tests, assist in new product development and troubleshoot process problems
• Perform required documentation, recordkeeping and data entry
• Follow all established safety rules and regulations and utilize required safety equipment. 
• Read and interpret routing sheets to determine required operations and product specifications
• other similar duties as directed.

Required Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will be goal oriented, focused and patient, positively handling and addressing challenges and possess the following experience and talents:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Solid track record of stable work history
• Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments a plus
• English language competency (speaking, comprehension, reading and writing) commensurate with the duties
• Visual acuity, fine motor skills and manual dexterity required
• English language competency (speaking, comprehension, reading and writing) commensurate with the duties 
• Ability to lift, move and carry up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug test.
• Reliable transportation required to work set schedule.

All new hires for this position are initially placed with CoWorx Staffing Agency for a minimum period of 3 months prior to hire by Incom.
