Key Responsibilities
Develop FHIR-Based Solutions: Build applications and integrations using FHIR resources, profiles, and Smile CDR capabilities.
Configure Smile CDR: Customize Smile CDR
modules, manage FHIR data repositories, and optimize the platform for performance.
API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs for healthcare applications to enable seamless data exchange.
Data Interoperability: Implement solutions to ensure interoperability between multiple healthcare systems using HL7 FHIR and other relevant standards.
Healthcare Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.
Debugging & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues in FHIR implementations or Smile CDR configurations.
Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including implementation guides, system architecture, and user manuals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with Smile CDR platform and FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources).
Knowledge of HL7 standards, including FHIR,
CDA, and V2.
Familiarity with HAPI FHIR and other FHIR libraries.
Healthcare Standards: Understanding of terminologies like SNOMED CT, LOINC, and ICD-10.
Database Knowledge: Proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Security Protocols: Knowledge of secure data exchange mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical
skills to debug and optimize FHIR-based applications.
Preferred Skills
Experience in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
