About This Opportunity
As a SDET IV (Lead), you will lead and perform the necessary actions related to creating, managing existing, and executing system tests and developing overall QA automation strategy. This role is project-oriented, creative and driven to deliver the highest-quality solutions. You will be working closely with development teams as they develop code to ensure requirements are adhering to the highest quality levels. This role will own and conduct test suites to ensure the software created is fit for purpose. During testing, you will be working to understand the various scenarios and configurations and drive automated and regression testing across the products. You will be responsible for defining and driving innovative testing strategies and toolsets across the group and leading the team.
Responsibilities
Engineering:
- Building and executing test platforms using InComm test suite and working within continuous delivery / continuous release pipeline processes
- Experience in mentoring QA staff in quality objectives and testing processes
- Ability to create and use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality
- Enhancing the current QA Automation and DevOps strategy
- Expertise :
- Application testing
- UX Testing
- UI Testing
- Integration testing of APIs
- Performance and scalability testing
- DB Data Layer Testing
- Proactively bring issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them
- Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all automated test suites
- Informing, enabling, reviewing, and reporting status in regards to project test performance
- Provide strategies for test improvement initiatives and efficiency increases
- Committed to ensuring that customer needs are met by taking personal responsibility for service and quality
- Leading a team and manage work load assignments
Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute a Quality Management Plan
- Responsible for defect tracking, test-case development and management, and test results reporting
- Infrastructure / Network connectivity testing as needed
- Performance, load, and stress testing as needed
Analysis / Execution:
- Assess and implement Quality Assurance best practices
- Ability to create and execute manua and autoamation test suites according to the scope of effort
- Identify and review activities and deliverables critical to project quality
- Informing, enabling, reviewing, and reporting on project process performance
- Provide strategies for process improvement initiatives and efficiency increases
- Responsible for defect tracking, test case management and test results reporting
- Committed to ensuring that customer needs are met by taking personal responsibility for service and quality
- Understands that work is project-oriented and uses good judgment, creativity and sound technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software-development environments (SDLC)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a test Lead role
- Minimum 7 years of working in Quality Assurance
- Minimum 3 years SDLC in agile development environments
- Minimum 4 years writing, executing and monitoring automation test suites
- Minimum 3 years’ experience bug tracking and test management toolsets to support development processes
- Minimum 2 years of software development experience in Java , SQL,
- Minimum 1 year of experience in CI/CD DevOps pipeline in languages like Github Actions, Jenkin, Azure DevOps etc
