Entry Level Engineer

Job Summary:

inCon-trol Water Systems is seeking an Entry-Level Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the estimation and design team, focusing on the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for Commercial Water Features, Irrigation Pump Stations, and Water Harvesting Systems. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed takeoffs for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for commercial water features, irrigation pump stations, and rainwater harvesting systems.
• Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects.
• Prepare and write comprehensive proposals for customers.
• Collaborate with vendors to obtain pricing and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Assist in the design and layout of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure seamless integration of designs.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
• Continuously update and maintain knowledge of industry trends and advancements in water feature technologies.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures for estimation and design processes.
• Support senior engineers and project managers with various tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Experience with Bluebeam
• Excellent time management skills
• Effective communication and team work skills
• Experience with AutoCAD
