Job Summary
Job Summary The role is for Infra application support engineer working in US NWM Infra team.
The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and 2nd level support of large-scale infrastructure environment.
The US Technology team focuses on numerous components of the electronic trading application environment. The application are mainly third party engineered and customized for in-house requirement, both locally and in conjunction with the global team based in London and India.
The US team plays a critical role in adapting and improving the software and hardware to meet the eTrading/Infra requirement.
The team is responsible to maintain wide range of applications, appliance, software, policy, and license.
Given the small size of the team, the team look after the front and back delivery and maintenance of the product.
Years of experience needed
At least 10 - 12 years of work experience in ITSM based service management organizations
Education qualification: BE/Graduation
Technical Skills:
Must have all the following:
Autosys,
Perl,
SQL,
NetAPP,
Dell Networker,
Cloud, Global Influence
Flexibility around availability (shifts/weekends/holidays):
Experience of supporting Monitoring Tools
Experience of supporting Microsoft Windows platforms
Knowledge on application support and Global influence
Knowledge and hands on experience in cloud technologies
Proven experience of complete project lifecycle, and exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum).
Key Responsibilities:
Takes ownership of issues and manages them appropriately.
Genuine interest in teamwork. Proven record of making improvements for the team, assisting and working with others and aligning development work with team objectives.
Understanding that application development is more than purely coding.
Good communication skills to work with local Dev/Support teams, business managers, traders, and global Dev/Support teams
