Position: QA Automation Architect
Location: New York City, NY (ONSITE)

Senior QE or SDET Specialist/Test Architect in the testing/automation of BFSI domains product applications or solutioning. Able to create the BDD Agile test strategy, approach and test plan and able to deliver the in-sprint automation tasks with QA/QE team or independently
Should have 14-20 years of strong experience in automation analysis, Automation Framework development, design and end to end implementation of BDD TDD ATDD Test Automation in Agile development Environment
SDET Automation Engineer and Lead is responsible for TDD-BDD test automation framework setup, configuration of framework, libraries in QA environment, setting up the test data using TDM tools, able to mock APIs and data using test mocking frameworks (Wiremock, Java-Mockito etc.)
with right automation approach
Deep Expertise in Web UI, API automation using tools - Selenium, Playwright-Java or Typescripts, BDD-Java cucumber, BDD Karate, Test framework scripting, API automation using BDD rest assured, TestNG framework or other modern test tools / frameworks like Playwright automation tool, Cypress etc .
Creating BDD Gherkin Test cases with GWT keyword and design scenarios, creating feature files with data driven test steps, steps definitions code and script execution and report validation with cucumber HTML and extent etc .
Experience in setting the direction for automated testing, test data setup for automation and CI-CD pipeline integration with BDD Test automation framework on GitLab/ Jenkins CI server platform.
Provide leadership for test design and guidance during test specification development.
Drive test automation best practices implementation and TDD BDD ATDD driven test guidelines and compliance process in banking domains.
Review and approve test plans and test designs (prepared by test team and technical stakeholders)
Interface with Product manager, Project manager, scrum lead and development teams to understand the product functionality and test specs for automation
Ensure that all the QA/QE teams follow a common test methodology using common best practices, tools and test approach
Cooperates in product quality assessment and analysis
Experienced in designing test solutions for cloud automation development systems, good to have exposure to cloud, Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform cloud automation and exposure to CI-CD integration, SCM tools, Reports/Metrics services
Having certification in modern test automation tool, AI-powered automation tools, frameworks and development tools, will be an added advantage.
