A highly skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is sought to join our team at an Academic medical center in the Maywood, IL area. This is a full-time position available with various shift options including day shifts.
About the Role:
- Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments to develop anesthesia plans and obtain informed consent from patients.
- Administer general or local anesthesia, sedatives, and pain management medication as per physician's orders.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during surgery to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in nurse anesthesia from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Active state license as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) and in good standing with the medical board.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
