Job Summary
This is a challenging and rewarding role for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at an academic medical center in Tappahannock, VA. We are seeking experienced CRNAs who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop anesthesia plans tailored to individual patients' needs.
- Administer general or local anesthesia, sedatives, and pain management medication as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Active state license as an APRN and good standing with the medical board.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
