Responsibilities
As a Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care strategies for laboring mothers. You will work closely with obstetricians and other healthcare providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Your duties will include monitoring vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, and providing emotional and educational support to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program. You should also possess an active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license and at least one year of experience in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or a related field. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification are also required.
