Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- An ADN or higher degree in nursing
- An active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
- At least 1 year of experience in an emergency room (ER) setting
- ACLS and PALS certification preferred
- Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Serving as the first line of defense for patients requiring urgent medical care
- Treating patients suffering from trauma, injury, or severe medical conditions
- Quickly assessing patients' needs and prioritizing care
- Maintaining patient health conditions, administering medications, and operating medical equipment
- Participating in code blue and other emergency situations
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans
- Educating patients and their families about their condition and care plan
