Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team in Secaucus, NJ. This is a full-time position with various shift options available.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) and be certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). You will be responsible for rapidly assessing patient conditions, monitoring life-support systems, and collaborating with physicians to develop and implement care plans.
Responsibilities:
- Rapidly assess patient conditions, including vital signs and physiological parameters
- Monitor and provide care to critically ill patients
- Manage life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring
- Participate in rapid response and emergency situations
- Administer medications and other treatments
- Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans
- Educate patients and families about their condition and care plan
Requirements:
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
- ADN or higher degree in nursing
- 1 year of experience in a critical care unit (ICU)
- ACLS certification preferred
