Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with both acute and chronic medical conditions. The successful candidate will administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians. They will also collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and facilitate discharge planning.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population
* Administer medications and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians
* Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate records
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
* Facilitate discharge planning and educate patients and their families on chronic and acute disease management
Qualifications
* Associate's Degree (ADN) or above nursing education
* Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
* 1 year nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or similar setting
* BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
* Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
* Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
