Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and conduct regular assessments to monitor patient progress.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining up-to-date records of treatment plans and patient progress.
Requirements
- RN Diploma degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing.
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
- Expertise in NICU care, with experience in areas such as carseat testing, catheter insertion/maintenance, cooling, ECMO, ETT/ventilator management, NICU Level III, NICU Level IV, NRP certified, or tube feeding management.
