Job Summary
This is a nursing position in an Operating Room / Surgical setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in various areas such as CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, and others.
We offer a range of shifts, including day shift, night shift, and mid shift, with job types available full time, part time, and per diem.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards.
- Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
- Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery.
- Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care.
Qualifications
- ADN or higher degree in nursing.
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
- 1 year of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred.
- ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
