Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join our team at Incredible Health. As a member of our surgical recovery team, you will be responsible for providing immediate post-operative care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. This includes monitoring vital signs, administering prescribed medications, and implementing treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-acuity setting such as a PACU or ICU and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to discharge home.
Responsibilities:
Provide immediate post-operative care to patients
Monitor vital signs and manage symptoms of anesthesia
Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient transition
Requirements:
Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or similar high-acuity setting preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
