Registered Nurse - PCU / Stepdown
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Hospitals on Incredible Health. The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for patients with medium to high acuity needs, including those requiring Bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, Cardiac Drip Management, DKA, High Acuity, Post Cardiac Intervention, or Sheath Pulls care.

- Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips, and other key indicators.
- Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring accurate and prompt execution of medical orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on managing acute or chronic conditions, including proper use of equipment like BiPap/Cpac/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors.
- Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
- 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and other advanced nursing care practices.
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems.
