About The Role

This position reports to the SVP Business Banking & Special Assets at our IncredibleBank branch location in Iron Mountain, MI and allows you to partner with other team members and key stakeholders to provide Incredible Customer Experiences of your own! Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the Bank’s high-risk commercial loan portfolio which includes management of the portfolio including monitoring the status of payments and collateral, taxes, insurance, and property condition.
- Will work closely with legal representatives to ensure appropriate documentation and protection of the bank’s collateral.
- Daily management of the assigned non-performing commercial loan portfolio which requires higher than normal correspondence with the clients to maximize resolution and minimize loss.
- Restructure existing loans and work with lending personnel and borrows to better secure collateral and or assets of the borrower.
- Negotiate workout terms for default resolution; negotiate and prepare short-term maturity extensions.
- Work collaboratively with business bankers to identify and resolve problem credits as early as possible.
- Review and recommend Portfolio risk rating changes.
- In accordance with Loan Policy, review, recommend and/or approve modifications including but not limited to maturities, payments, amortization, forbearance agreements, and workouts.
- Process borrower requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain working knowledge of SBA liquidation process.

- Four-year degree from an accredited University in area of specialty.
- 5 years of experience in commercial lending.
- 3 years of experience in commercial collections and workout area.
- Experience with Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies required.
