Game Zone Technician

Incredibowl Entertainment Toledo is hiring Game Zone Technicians to join our team. In this role, you'll primarily be responsible for maintaining the functionality and operational efficiency of our arcade and laser tag equipment to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with arcade games and laser tag equipment using your mechanical aptitude and manuals. Implement effective repairs to restore full functionality and maintain optimal game play.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance checks on arcade and laser tag equipment to identify potential problems before they arise. This includes cleaning components, ensuring proper calibration, and addressing minor issues to maximize uptime.
• Be a Parts Pro: When necessary, research and identify required replacement parts for repairs. Communicate parts needs to the manager or owner, ensuring timely procurement to minimize downtime.
• Oversee Redemption Inventory: Assist with putting away redemption prizes (orders arrive once a week) and participate in the monthly inventory process.
• Ensure Cleanliness & Presentation: Maintain a clean and attractive arcade environment by regularly wiping down machines and keeping prize areas organized and visually appealing. Ensure crane games are well-stocked with a variety of prizes to entice players.
• Provide Guest Interaction & Support: When needed, assist team members and guests. This may include helping guests redeem their points for prizes or answering basic questions about game functionality.
• Stay Informed: Remain knowledgeable about upcoming center events to answer guest inquiries accurately.
• Maintain a Professional Appearance: Keep a neat and clean appearance while adhering to our dress code.
• Be Dependable & Responsible: Maintain the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical repair or a related field
• Strong mechanical skills and a demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electronic equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a resourceful approach to finding solutions with limited resources
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Ability to effectively utilize technical manuals and follow established procedures
• Must have reliable transportation to and from our location in Toledo, OH
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be fluent in English
• Frequently required to stand
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
• May also perform physical activities such as lifting and stooping
