Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning tasks and be committed to maintaining a clean and orderly environment. This position offers an opportunity to work in different settings, from residential to commercial spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures for different areas
- Perform floor care tasks including buffing and polishing
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements
- Experience in residential painting, commercial cleaning, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical stamina to handle various cleaning tasks
- Previous experience as a porter or in facilities maintenance is beneficial
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overnight shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
