Schedule: Monday - Friday; 3:30 pm - 9:00 pm (flexible with hours)
Route: Spokane - CDA region
$16.69 - $23.36 USD Hourly
Medical Courier is responsible for the pickup and delivery of laboratory reports, supplies, and specimens and for serving our client’s immediate needs, in a professional manner, while keeping the Manager aware of any issues.
This position will require one to drive own vehicle - see below for Insurance Coverage requirements & motor vehicle record, Mileage reimbursement, per IRS guidelines, eligibility for use of personal vehicle for work.
You Will:
- Pickup and Deliver Specimens, Supplies, Interoffice Mail and Laboratory Reports
- Client Services
- Follow Safety Protocols While Driving
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent driving record, preferred. Valid driver’s license / motor vehicle driver's license information obtained & driving check after offer extended and background consent received
- Have reliable vehicle to drive route: mileage reimbursement and insurance stipend* - provided
- Skill in verbal and written communication: engaging and professional communication skill/experience
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively through company email, text messages and phone calls (Policies / state laws requirements adherence - a must)
- Knowledge of healthcare settings, including HIPAA privacy rule, preferred
- Computer proficiency, for communication and for online learning media
*Insurance Coverage: Employees who use their personal vehicles for company business must carry adequate liability limits. Incyte requires limits of $100,000 per person for bodily injury, $300,000 per accident, and $100,000 property damage liability (100/300/100). The policy must not include a business use exclusion. A copy of the declaration page of the employee’s personal automobile insurance policy must be provided to their supervisor/human resources department annually at the employee’s renewal date.
