Position Title : IT Help Desk Technician - Entry Level
Location : St. Paul
Payrate : $19 / hour

POSITION DESCRIPTION
This is a temporary position with a full-time schedule throughout a 12-week assignment for a low Level 1 Help Desk Support for a 3-month project Support Technician.
We will require an on-site Technician direct Supporting all end-users for the Charlotte and Saint Paul division. This position will be under the direct Supervision of IT Manager.
Working FT 40 hours a week.
Total for the 3-months duration of the project.
RESPONSIBILITES
Technician will be working on a project to inventory all our assets and prepare for recycling within 8 weeks of hire date.
Work on low hanging fruits like Help Desk Support tickets in the office.
Deploying updates and mitigations to all our office machines in Saint Paul
Moving teams around when a request comes through from our Operations team.
Assist with unlocking users account, resetting password, and Outlook issues.
Deployment of new or repurposing desktops / laptops for team members that requires one upon approval.
Troubleshooting Network issues with desktops / laptops
VPN - using Forti Authenticator - for troubleshooting multi-factor authentication issues for end-users that works from home.
Help users with VMWare connecting and troubleshooting getting into VDI environment.
Submitting Tickets to vendors if one of Big production network printer is down.
Requesting for more toners for our small HP printers and resupply our closet when running low.

Position Requirements
- From a technical standpoint, the right fit must have 1-2 Years' experience in supporting small-medium scale Desktop Environments, including all hardware necessary to run an office. They will also need a strong understanding of MS Outlook, MS Office, Windows 7 and re-setting passwords in Active Directory.
- A Certification and / or equivalent experience preferred
- Must possess the ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
- Excellent customer service skills are a must.
