CAD Designer

Job Overview
Job Purpose:

The CAD CAM Specialist is responsible for developing precise drawings and CNC programs utilizing CAD CAM software to support manufacturing operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.
• Develop and modify 3D models using CAD software to meet project requirements.
• Monitor, document, and manage changes made to CNC machines to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, technical drawings, routing instructions, manuals, and specifications.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
• Actively identify and address unsafe conditions and behaviors, fostering a safe work environment.

· MUST HAVES:

• 2 years of experience creating CNC programs with CAM software
• 2 years of experience creating 3D models with CAD software
• Experience generating 3D models from 2D prints
• Experience interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, and specifications
• AS in CAD or equivalent work experience

· NICE TO HAVES:

• Experience with Siemens NX and WorkNC (Hexagon) software
• Experience working in a forging plant or manufacturing
• Experience with ISO 14001 or IATF 16949

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
