Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans, providing regular updates and sales reports.
- Identify and qualify prospects, assess customer needs, and deliver tailored sales proposals.
- Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, dealers, consulting engineers, electrical contractors, and end-users.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, offering guidance on project requirements, electrical concerns, and system integrations.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and professional networking opportunities.
- Provide feedback on market trends, customer challenges, and product development opportunities.
- Continuously expand technical knowledge through professional development and industry research.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Engineering degree preferred.
- Industry Expertise: Experience with switchgear and control systems is required.
- Sales Experience: 3-5 years in technical sales, business development, or related field.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to listen, understand, and clearly communicate solutions to customers.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electrical systems, project management, and CRM software.
- Travel Requirements: Willing and able to travel 30-50% as needed.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
