What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Manager position at indeed@sigilpartners.com?
- Monitor and improve performance of Production Processes related to the Production Unit (Up to 4 Production Processes)
- Interpret, be taught, and quickly learn Reaction Chemistry. All Production Processes start with some sort of Reaction Chemistry
- Identify production related issues and generate appropriate continuous improvements. Collect, interpret, analyze, and correlate data for troubleshooting with productivity issues, quality issues, equipment issues, etc. Define and implement the necessary improvements based findings
- Conduct an Investigation (Customer Complaints, Off-Spec Production, Equipment Failures, Production Process Upsets, etc.)
- Generate corrective actions
- Manage Process Improvement Projects
- Correlate Final Product Quality to Production Processing Data
- Help teach/train Plant Supervisors and Operators, and help further develop or create Training Plans for these Positions
- Track Production Yields and Perform Mass Balances
- Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) tools
- Collaborate with various departments / stakeholders (Quality, Production Operators/Supervisors, Management, Warehouse, Maintenance, Sales, etc)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $128,000.00 per year
