Job Summary

Independence Pet Group (IPG) is seeking a Growth Marketing Supervisor to join our Marketing & Customer Growth team. This role will lead the execution of our multi-brand paid media strategy, overseeing a significant budget and managing agency relationships to drive growth and efficiency . The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with deep expertise in digital marketing, OOH advertising, and affiliate channel development or both DTC and B2B audiences. This role also requires strong team management skills and experience optimizing media investments across multiple brands.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape IPG’s paid media strategy across a diverse portfolio of pet insurance brands, ensuring we maximize customer acquisition and engagement through paid media, affiliate partnerships, and employee benefits channels.

Main Responsibilities

  • Paid Media Strategy & Execution: Oversee the development and execution of performance -driven paid media campaigns across a portfolio of pet insurance brands, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Affiliate Channel Growth: Manage and optimize affiliate marketing partnerships, leveraging third-party publishers, influencers, and strategic partners to drive incremental revenue.
  • Employee Benefits Media Opportunities: Develop and execute paid media strategies within employee benefits channels, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to maximize brand presence and engagement.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage and optimize a $30M paid media budget, ensuring efficient allocation across channels, brands, and campaigns.
  • Agency Management: Lead relationships with paid media agencies, ensuring best-in-class strategy, execution, and performance reporting.
  • Cross-Channel Expertise: Oversee paid media activations across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn. Continually expand IPG's presence on paid platforms, exploring channels like direct mail, podcasting, OOH, TV, and others, staying ahead of industry trends and innovations.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, develop, and manage a team of paid media specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Data & Analytics: Partner with analytics and marketing operations teams to measure performance, optimize campaigns, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Creative, SEO, lifecycle, and additional channel marketing teams to develop and execute high-impact campaigns that drive results.
  • Testing & Innovation: Lead a culture of experimentation, leveraging A/B testing and new platform opportunities to drive incremental growth.

Qualifications

  • 6 years of experience in paid media, preferably managing multiple brands in a large corporate environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college).
  • Proven track record overseeing paid media spend and driving measurable business impact.
  • Experience managing paid media agencies, ensuring strategic alignment and executional excellence.
  • Experience developing and optimizing affiliate marketing programs and/or managing employee benefits media opportunities.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and managing a team of specialists.
  • Expertise in Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn, and other emerging platforms.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools to inform strategy and optimize campaigns.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
