Job Summary:
IPH is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Corporate Affairs Summer Intern to support our social media and digital communications efforts. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in content creation, brand storytelling, and social media strategy while working alongside our Corporate Affairs team.
Internship Dates: June 2, 2025 - August 15, 2025
Job Location: Onsite - New York - Midtown
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and curating engaging content for our corporate social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activity to provide insights and recommendations.
- Support the execution of social media campaigns, including drafting posts, designing visuals, and scheduling content.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments, and help foster meaningful online conversations.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and create reports to measure engagement and impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams to highlight company initiatives, corporate responsibility efforts, and employee stories.
- Research best practices for corporate social media and suggest innovative ways to enhance our online presence.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Passionate about social media with an understanding of platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling messages.
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools a plus).
- Analytical mindset with an interest in tracking and improving digital performance.
