What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst position at Independence Realty Trust Inc?
We are seeking an Analyst in our Philadelphia, PA office to support the investments team in identifying acquisition and disposition opportunities, conducting underwriting, due diligence and market research across our target markets. The Analyst will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Investments.

Primary responsibilities will include:
- Financial modeling / Preparing cash flow analyses
- Analyze and evaluate rent rolls and operating statements of properties
- Market research
- Internal database tracking
- Assisting in preparing investment memos/presentations, acquisition due diligence
- Portfolio Management analysis and reporting
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting or Finance
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong analytical skills; both quantitative and qualitative
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to compile market research data and maintain database of information using both public and subscription data sources (CoStar, Yardi, Entrata, Greenstreet, Census, etc.)
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize to deadlines
- Focused on accuracy and detail oriented
- Ability to travel (25%)
